Brushless Slip Ring Model 130

Conductors: One Conductor
Amps: 30

The Mercotac® model 130 brushless slip ring is a compact, single-channel slip ring that is suitable for applications that require up to 30 Amps of current capacity. It is specifically designed for applications that require more current capacity than the model 110 or 110-T, but do not need the high 250-amp power of the model 1250. This slip ring is ideal for electroplating and welding uses, but can also be used in automation machinery, mineral processing and other applications

Advantages:

  • Durable, compact, and low cost
  • Use for signal and/or power connections
  • Easy to install and replace
  • IP 51 protection rating with boot kit
  • Lightweight with robust metal construction
  • Long-lasting, energy efficient, and no maintenance
  • Made in the USA

Installation Notes:

  • The up arrow should not point below horizontal.
  • Do not solder to or bend terminals.
  • Avoid lateral forces and mechanical loads (overly stiff or tight wires).
  • Do not rigid mount both ends of the Mercotac.
  • Limit the mounting eccentricity (runout / wobble) to .005" (.13mm).
  • Provide overload protection within the circuit.
  • Avoid vibration and bumping motions.

130

The Mercotac model 130 brushless slip ring provides a compact, low-cost, and high-performance electrical connection that is unsurpassed in a wide range of applications that require up to 30 amps of current. It is much smaller than other alternatives, making it ideal for applications with space constraints. Some possible uses are for strip electroplating lines, general electroplating, and electroforming of parts. Another typical application is welding, such as spot welding on a rotating production turntable. It provides a cost-effective solution for a low-resistance, stable electrical connection and is an ideal solution for many industries. The applications for this brushless slip ring are only limited by one's imagination.
